Best places to visit in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Dirang is a small hill station in the West Kameng district of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is home to turbulent waterways, raging rivers, beautiful tourist spots, rich and rare species of flora and fauna and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Dirang is located approximately 42 km and 311 km from the district headquarters Bomdila and the state capital Itanagar respectively.

Sangati Valley :-

Sangati Valley, 8 km from Dirang, is known for various scenic spots. The paddy fields are the main magnetism of the valley. Another major attraction of Dirang is the ‘Khaso Steel Bridge’ located near the Sangati Valley.

Bomdila Monastery is located about 41 km from Dirang and was inaugurated in 1965 and built by the 12th reincarnation of Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. It has an attractive Buddha temple and is considered the main place of worship for Buddhists in the entire West Kameng district.

Sesa Orchid Sanctuary  :-

Sesa Orchid Sanctuary is one of the famous sanctuaries of the state which covers an area of ​​100 square kilometers. The sanctuary is home to more than 200 species of exotic orchids. Rare animal species like red panda, goral and pheasant are found in the sanctuary.

Craft Center and Ethnographic Museum  :-
